Westwood Day Nursery declared ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted once again
There was cause for celebration at Westwood Day Nursery in Coventry as practitioners and parents learnt that the setting had achieved Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ status for the third time running.
Describing the Westwood Way nursery’s focus on learning as “highly effective” and children as “inquisitive and confident learners”, an Ofsted inspector commended the “passionate and dedicated” staff team for using their detailed knowledge of each and every child in order to identify their next individual steps in learning.
The inspector went on to commend the children’s “exemplary” behaviour, as well as the “excellent” partnerships between staff and parents, which includes stay and play sessions, paediatric first aid workshops and parent forums.
Ofsted Inspector, Ofsted Inspector, Angela Hulme said;
“The inspirational leadership of the management team and company directors place a high priority on staff morale and well-being. New initiatives are consistently introduced to help maintain this continually evolving nursery where children thrive and excel.”
Westwood Day Nursery Manager, Carly Ward explained;
“We are absolutely delighted to have received this outcome from Ofsted once again and have our efforts recognised across the board. We are committed to giving our children the best possible start in life and this is made possible with the support of our incredible network of nursery parents.”
