Walking in a Winter Wonderland at Windmill Hill Day Nursery
Christmas came early at Windmill Hill Day Nursery in Swindon as delighted children, parents and practitioners joined together for the setting’s annual festive celebrations.
As well as a visit to Santa’s Grotto, families at the day nursery on Windmill Business Park, Whitehill Way enjoyed an array of activities, including wreath making and biscuit decorating, all whilst raising money for mental health charity, ‘Mind’.
Windmill Hill Day Nursery Manager, Lora Worthington explained;
“We had a fantastic time getting into the Christmas spirit with our nursery families, and this is always a yearly highlight for us. We are delighted to be donating a total of £456.38 to Mind from the event, which will go towards funding crucial services such as the telephone support line.”
“We aim to make a real difference when it comes to supporting worthy causes and Mind is reaching out to about 14 million people a year in the UK who are experiencing a mental health problem”, she added.
Windmill Hill has adopted Mind, the leading mental health charity in England and Wales which offers specialised services, advice and support to those living with a mental health problem, for a year-long fundraising drive.
