Showing support for key workers at Woodlands Day Nursery
Thoughtful children from Woodlands Day Nursery in Barnet have showcased their creativity by making banners of thanks for those in key worker roles.
At the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery on Orchard Road, pre-schoolers used a range of materials including paint and tissue paper to create their designs, which were then proudly displayed to thank NHS staff, teachers, shop workers, the armed forces and more during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Woodlands Day Nursery Deputy Manager, Emma Bloom explained;
“Our remaining children at Woodlands are all those of key worker families, so we thought these signs would be a great way of lifting their spirits at pick up time. We’d like to say a big thank you to all of these workers, including our own early years colleagues for their dedication during this period.”
