Diving head first into fundraising at Knowle Green Day Nursery

Fearless Isla Smith, Apprentice at Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines has helped her setting reach their £4000 fundraising target for the year by skydiving to raise money for mental health charity, ‘Mind’.

Raising an incredible total of £505 for the cause, Isla, who works at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery in Knowle Green took part in the skydive with her father and has brought the overall charity total to £4032, with sponsorship still incoming.

Knowle Green Day Nursery Manager, Faye Walker explained;

“We couldn’t be prouder of Isla and the bravery she has shown to support this incredibly deserving charity. We aim to make a real difference when it comes to worthy causes and Mind is reaching out to about 14 million people a year in the UK who are experiencing a mental health problem.”

Knowle Green has adopted Mind, the leading mental health charity in England and Wales which offers specialised services, advice and support to those living with a mental health problem, for a year-long fundraising drive.
