‘Class of 2019’ say goodbye at Lavenders Day Nursery
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house at Lavenders Day Nursery in Bedford as children marked the end of their time at pre-school with a special graduation ceremony.
Dressed in gowns and mortar boards, children from the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery in Bushmead Avenue were delighted to accept their certificates of achievement and pose for photographs as their proud families and practitioners watched on.
To continue the festivities, families were able to enjoy a celebration lunch, as well as entertainment from a balloon modeler and the children’s music teacher, Miss Meghan.
Lavenders Day Nursery Deputy Manager, Jessica D’Arcy explained;
“We are so proud of the children and everything they have achieved at Lavenders, especially having cared for the majority of them since they were babies. We are extremely sad to see them go as they are a joy to be around, but are confident that the learning experiences we have given them will stand them in the best possible stead for school life.”
